Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the Funk Heritage Center. As Georgia’s official Frontier and Southeastern Indian Interpretive Center, it is our mission to tell the story of the early Appalachian Settlers and Southeastern Indians through educational programming and the collection, care, and exhibition of art and artifacts.
We are actively working with Native nations to make the museum even better, including the opening of our most recent exhibit, Realms; school-focused events, such as our recurring History Alive; and various programs, including our fall and spring lecture series.
Additionally, we will be opening new student-curated exhibits on William McIntosh and the Creek Indians, as well as a new audio tour of the main gallery. A new podcast is also in development.
Your support means a great deal to us. Memberships are a major source of support for our nonprofit museum.
