The Funk Heritage Center opened in 1999. Located on the Reinhardt University campus in the Appalachian foothills, Funk Heritage Center tells the story of the region with its vast collection of artifacts.
The mission of the Funk Heritage Center is to tell the story of the early Appalachian settlers and Southeastern Indians through educational programs and the collections, care, and exhibitions of art and artifacts.
